More than 15 years ago, when he was in his 20s, he worked in a tiny basement studio there. He has taken over two storefronts in the newly restored buildings, bringing attention to spaces that, it is hoped, one day will house local businesses. “Randy Slack Retrospective, From the Luhrs Basement + Beyond” will feature more than 20 works from throughout his career.
